I saw a clip to a movie, a scientist created a special force field and within that field creatures appeared that we are not normally able to see. One guy put his finger in the field and one of them tries to attack him. Which movie is this????

...sounds kinda like the gory 1986 cult horror chiller, "From Beyond"; in the film, a scientist uses a special set of giant tuning forks, to create a dimensional rift, where bizarre creatures exist, and can only be seen while the forks are maintaining the rift. It starred Jeffery Combs, hot off his maniacally deadpan performance as Herbert West in "Re-Animator", as the scientist who opens the dimensional rift...with disasterous and mind-bending results...

(edit)

...a bit more information for you, regarding this film; MGM Home Video recently (...and finally) released this classic flick on DVD, but in an unrated director's cut, never seen at the theaters. Fans of this film can now relish all the oh-so juicy parts, including the fabled and infamous complete uncut version of the 'brain-sucking-through-the-eye-socket' scene (...oh, yummmmm!!!)

i might relatively advise "The Day The Earth Stood nonetheless". regardless of the particular effects, the movie isn't cheesy. in certainty, the story and performing are exceedingly solid. What a shame that Hollywood is making plans on doing a remake of this classic movie. For horror video clips, you ought to additionally look into most of the previous customary monsters sequels to Dracula, the mummy, The Wolfman, and Frankenstein.

sounds like perhaps "Thir13en Ghosts" - it was released back in 2001 I think.

the ghosts were all traped inside of special force fields, and were only able to be seen with the use of special glasses. once they were freed from their enclosures, they were trying to kill all the people who were in the house.
