Brady will play the entire game if the club is undefeated and only a half if the team has one or more losses.
You also cannot discount the game having NFC playoff implications and a "one-loss" New England will have to at least give a good appearance of playing 100-percent, so as not to have the league come down on them for essentially giving a clear road for the Giants to clinch a playoff slot by acting as if it's an exhibition game.

Look no further than the 2004 Indianapolis Colts. They had the playoff spot wrapped up early and decided to rest their starters. When the playoffs came around, they were out of sync and lost in the first round. Why change their approach if it works so well? They'll more than likely have a bye week anyways to rest the starters, that will be fine. Brady, Moss, and all should play week 17 unless they're legitimately injured.

I understand the fear but you cannot play or coach that way. You have to try and be the best at all times and win. It does not matter what week it is in or what you have wrapped up. Too often we see teams that have a playoff spot locked up and they rest players too much in the last game so they have two full weeks of not playing competitive football and look rusty for the first playoff game and can lose. That stat has a much higher likelihood than an injured player.

Who cares approximately what number rings they have, that's delusion soccer right here! Grossman is the greater valuable determination. The Pats will run the ball throughout INDY! the possibility for yet another stellar game with Grossman is only too plenty to pass up!

NO..I wouldn't agree with that....
They have done very well with the "play 60 minutes, every game" mentality.....
You start sitting people out, it would be counter productive to the way they have played all season.....
Brady is pretty safe back there, and is very savy and knows how to take a hit....If you remember, the beginning of his career, he got smacked around quite a bit.....Still doesn't negate what you said, things happen....
But overall...You either play 100% for all 60 minutes of all 16 games, or move to the CFL

No. Its a violent game. Injuries happen all the time. You can't start worrying about who might get hurt or you become less effective as a team. Brady will sit when the Game against the Giants is out of reach. That's as soon as they'll sit him.

Well, the difference between the three is that Brady has a far superior O-line than the Redskins and Bears. Brady should be fine.

Niko your an idiot....The Giants are probably going to be resting many of their players so it might be safe to play Brady the whole game....as you've seen from the pats demolishing opponents they show no mercy...no matter what game what score or what opponent

brady should already be sitting at least the 2nd half of every game.
but bellicheck is on a mission to demoralize and disrespect every team.
im going to laugh if he gets hurt in an already decided game that he shouldn't be in.....especially if its on a 4th down play.

I think if tom plays in week 17 he should only play for the 1st half then let matt get some time in.
