what do you thing of the the bike apart from small

first ever bike i went on was the above suzie and thought it would be nice to buy a poor old dead one and bring her back to the day she was built

i want it to be my first project i do with no help at all from others

If you like it, who care what everyone else thinks. I wouldn't buy a dead one, though. Buy one that runs but may need work. That way you can still enjoy riding while you work on it. Otherwise, it might just become a garage ornament.

It will be a labour of love, rather than a rational decision.

The GSX-250's are now very old, hard to find and difficult to get parts for. Restoring one will be expensive, time consuming and hard work. At the end of it, you will have a bike worth much less than you spent on it.

But hey, no-one ever said biking was about being rational!!

Go for something latest and have fun with the bike.

They are only a inline twin and IMHO that sucks plus its heavy.

If you want performance, you might want to go for an early model ZXR/CBR 250.

poor performance - inefficient - my one kept breaking down - bought new, they ended up replacing - that broke, i got an alternative in the end
