do you need a licene to operate lawn care business in kansas?

this is actually for a class, but i need real answers. and im also doing snow shoveling in winter.

if you do pesticides yes. just fertilizer no.
cut and hedge no
if you put in sprinkler lines may need plumber's licesne

I don't know if this helps but you will need an insurance bond cost - approx $250 per year, also General Liability insurance - approx $2500 per year and worker's comp - approx $1500 per year.
