I went at a time(in the southeastern United States) when teachers could spank us at anytime for just about any reason. It was OK though. It would have been better if the teachers were more fair when choosing when to administer corporal punishment. I suppose it had some benefits such as getting respect from the students. I liked primary school. It was not as much fun in Jr high or high school. I did have some wonderful teachers in Jr high and high school. Some I will never forget.

I attended in Middlesex. On my first day my parents told me not to talk in class so when I needed to leave the room I couldn't ask. My event triggered two adjacent children.
After that I really enjoyed that school for the next 5 years

I went to James Woods elementary school, James Woods middle school, and James Woods High School. It was fun the day our high school got flooded because some crazy student busted the water pipes with an axe.

Robert E. Lee Elementary... where , in 2nd grade, Mrs. Heath broke my ruler when she hit me on the hand with it. But, the great thing about Mrs. Heath was anyone could sing any time they wanted. So, when math time rolled around, I always raised my hand so I could sing. Next year, in 3rd grade, Mrs. Buller kept me after class every day so I could catch up on math. Ahhh... the good ole days.....
