Iran is the most active state sponsor of terrorism. Its Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and Ministry of Intelligence and Security continue to be involved in the planning and support of terrorist acts and continue to support a variety of groups that use terrorism to pursue their goals. Iran's support includes funding, providing safe haven, training, and weapons to a wide variety of terrorist groups including Lebanese Hizballah, HAMAS, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Liberation Front for Palestine-General Command. Its support of HAMAS and Palestinian Islamic Jihad is of particular concern, as both groups continue their deliberate policies of attacking Israeli citizens with suicide bombings.
Iran's current policy is to provide a safe-haven to al-Qaida and Ansar al-Islam operatives and to interfere with international efforts to bring them to justice. The United States has been concerned for some time about the presence in Iran of al-Qaida members, including senior al-Qaida leaders.
Iranian support for terrorism emanates almost exclusively from the Revolutionary Guards and the Intelligence services, both of which are beyond the control of Iran’s president and legislature.
On November 4, 1979, Iranian students seized the U.S. embassy in Tehran and held 52 U.S. diplomats as hostages for 444 days.
After Israel withdrew unilaterally from Lebanon in May 2000, Hizballah initiated a massive arms buildup to prepare for further rounds of fighting against the Jewish state. The terrorist army’s efforts culminated in the summer of 2006, when it killed eight Israeli soldiers and kidnapped two others, sparking a war that lasted nearly five weeks. During that time, Iran provided Hizballah with critical financial and military support and encouraged it to keep fighting.
Currently, Iran is working feverishly to replenish Hizballah’s arms supply for yet another round of battle against Israel. Hizballah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah has boasted that the terrorist group “could launch between 1,000 and 3,000 rockets daily” at Israel. Hizballah continues to receive hundreds of millions of dollars from Iran each year. Nasrallah meets regularly with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to further bolster their relationship.
Iran also provides critical aid to the terrorist group Hamas, which openly calls for Israel’s destruction. After the 1993 signing of the Israeli-Palestinian Oslo Accords, Hamas committed dozens of suicide bombings that killed hundreds of innocent Israeli men, women and children. Beyond sponsoring the attacks, Iran provided cash rewards to the families of the bombers.
Today, Iran is one of the few countries that still sponsor Hamas despite its illegal, violent takeover of Gaza last June. In January 2006, just after Hamas’ election to lead the PA, Iran defied the international boycott of Hamas and was one of the first countries to announce its intention to fund the new terrorist leadership. Iran also provided military training to Hamas fighters for battle against Israel.
Both Hamas and Iran are quite open about their relationship. Mahmoud Zahar, a founder of Hamas, told the German newspaper Der Spiegel on June 22 that he had transferred large sums of money from Iran. “I personally once brought $20 million from Iran to the Gaza Strip in a suitcase,” he said. “No, actually twice – the second time it was $22 million.” In December 2006, then-PA Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas visited Tehran for meetings with Iran’s leadership. In a discussion with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Haniyeh candidly said, “Resistance is the only solution and the Palestinian government will never recognize Israel.”

Sure, plenty. They support, financially and materially:
1 - Hezbollah in Lebanon,
2 - Islamic Jihad in the West Bank,
3 - the al Assad regime in Syria, themselves longtime sponsors of terror groups, and
4 - at least for one $330 million boatload of sophisticated armaments (interdicted by the Israelis in the Red Sea), Fatah in the Occupied Territories.
Let's see, what else? I guess you could call their supply of the super-armor penetrators that are STILL killing Americans in Iraq to be a form of terror sponsorship, couldn't you?
And then there's the regular extra-judicial assassinations around the globe of Iranians that the government feels are threats to them (read: they don't agree with the criminal and theological gangsters in control of Iran) as well as non-Iranians with whom they simply disagree. Remember the fatwa (read: death sentence) issued on Salman Rushdie by that paragon of Islamist rectitude, Grand Ayatollah Khomeini himself? Fortunately for Rusdie, he had the means to stay out of their way until the fatwa was finally lifted many years later. That makes him a rare exception as most targets of the Iranian regime are taken out fairly swiftly.
No, any doubts about the evil nature of this regime have long since been put to bed. And speaking about putting, this regime should be put down like the rabid dogs they are. And, sooner or later, they will be as this is the way of history.

i think of that good now, there isn't any longer plenty Iran would desire to assert that would desire to be taken very heavily via us good now. CIA DOES use terrorist procedures - and why no longer? all of the different international locations do too. that's named a "point taking part in container". yet many won't agree simply by fact that's the U. S., and which could no longer be plausible. A Revolutionary Organization 17 November is defined such via those that are victimized via it.

You could ask the same thing of the CIA.
Is there any evidence? Sure....good luck finding it.
Does the CIA support foreign "rebel" groups which are labeled as terrorist organizations by the govt. of the countries they operate in? Yes.

On the other hand, the US government had Osama on its payroll through the CIA. So, the US government supported terrorism.
