I have gone to church to celebrate America and my freedom to worship and thank my God.
I have gone to a party and enjoyed the other guests and refreshments and food.
I have had my own dress up costume party w/ success and kissed and hugged everyone.
I have stayed home and fallen asleep before 12:00 watching a movie with my love and missed the Time Square ball drop.
I have stayed up to watch the ball drop and see Dick Clark still wanting to be there for his fans.
I have gone out dancing and drinking with my love and a whole bunch of people looking to get lucky and find someone to love.
We have gone out to set off a firework(no bullets) to open the new year.
I have stayed at a hotel and went swimming, drank, ate and danced and never drove home drunk with other drunks.
I've looked at my life on that night and asked myself what I could do to be a better person to my family and friends and expounded on that idea with friends sitting and enjoying being together on the eve of the next year.

Turn on the water and collect what comes from the faucet for the first 1 minute of the New Year. It's good luck to drink.
