Depends on the year.
Dodge recreated performance cars with the Viper after Chevy ruined the Vette. When the Viper came out it was cheaper and much faster than the top end Vette.
The Viper has become more refined over time, but its still essentially a street version race car.
Corvettes have been worked back the other way, from a relatively powerful street car with pretty good handling into a high end performance car that is still a good daily driver.

The Viper is a glorified factory built kit car with very little sophistication in it's design or construction. It is basically a no compromise, go fast in a straight line car that is not a comfortable everyday driver. The Corvette, on the other hand, is the better all round car. It has more 'creature comforts', better steering, better visibility, better ventilation. AND it is more comfortable at speed. The Viper could have a top speed 20MPH faster than a Corvette and I would still choose the Corvette.

The Corvette is a much more drivable car. The Viper is kind of rough-edged, but it depends on ones tastes. I wouldn't mind commuting or touring in a 'vette, but I would save the Viper for Sunday drives.

The Dodge is slightly faster, but the Corvette is better.
The Corvette is better because:
-It is cheaper than the Viper.
-It gets better gas mileage.
-It is more practical.
-It is more comfortable for everyday driving.

doller 4 dollar vette no question...but many on road...viper is louder,, harder to drive,,way more money and a way cooler ride.
