There is no contest. Libs are completely in denial.

Let's start with Cons. They are criticized for the Afghanistan and Iraq war. Well, it appears this strategy of keeping the enemy on the run in their own lands has worked pretty well, hasn't it? After 9-11, we were all braced for subsequent attacks, but Bush's vigilence made that next to impossible.

Do Libs really believe that the same country which simultaneously defeated both the Germans and the Japanese now inexplicably can't handle some backwards insurgents? That is huge denial.

Conservatives are criticized for tax cuts, even when it is mathematically proven that they pay for themselves at least two times over. It's inexplicable, it's as if Libs don't want to face up to rudimentary math.

Now, let's look at the mystifying self-deluded world of the Liberal.

They think their "anti-war" stance helps. Ha! Former high ranking North Vietnamese general Giap recently wrote his memoirs, stating his side was just getting decimated by American forces and were eager to negotiate a surrender. But guess who came to their rescue? The clueless "anti-war" Lib. Once the North Vietnamese realized how support for the war was declining, they understood they'd only have to play a waiting game.

You'd think the Libs would have learned their lesson, but no. When Reagan was exercising his strategy of bankrupting the Soviets, they laughed at him. Well, we are the ones laughing now.

How about Conservation? That's definitely a stronghold of the Liberal "feel-good" crusade. This is definitely their territory, right? Wrong!

It was Conservative sportsmen, game hunters, botanists, and naturalists who had an intimate knowledge of the land, and sought tirelessly to protect it, not some clueless Liberal in NYC who just saw some pretty picture and thought it would be nice to visit someday. When you visit a National Park, thank a Conservative.

How about "Liberal" education? They crow about how wonderful it is. Really? Before Libs got a hold of the education system, people who graduated from High School had practically the same level of education as many college graduates. Now you have even college graduates who can barely write a coherent sentence.

You know what the main cause of deteriorating neighborhoods is? Single parent households. Before Libs got a stranglehold on modern culture and society, out of wedlock births had a social stigma, and hence there were far fewer of them. Single parent households are the prime cause of our social deterioration. Thank a Lib the next time you see a rotting neighborhood.

I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Liberals often work with genuinely good intentions. They think they are doing the right thing. I really admire their sincerity. However, their overall effect is that of disasterously inept blunderers. They are like a cross between a demented Boy Scout and Dennis The Menace.

I don't believe either is in any deeper denial than the other. Both 'libs' and 'cons' ARE, however, in denial. If they truly understood the definitions* of the artificial labels they attach to themselves, they wouldn't let propagandists like Al Franken and Rush Limbaugh to brainwash them into believing false political dogmas.
We're in denial because we can't - or don't think for ourselves, choosing instead to listen to the political horse hockey spewed out over the airwaves by hate-mongers who laugh all the way to the bank as their brainless bobble-head listeners (and viewers) nod up-and-down in agreement without a clue as to what they're really agreeing to; it's nothing more than Hitleresque propaganda that only serves to further divide this great nation at a time when unity is so much more necessary.
We have stupidly allowed our pubic airwaves to be dominated by people who spew hatred, bias, distortions, lies, inaccuracies, and political bigotry all in the name of 'free speech'. Surely the statesmen who helped found this great nation are spinning in their graves. -RKO- 12/07/07

The liberals deny that the economy was ruined by the higher taxes we paid in the 90's... They are still under the impression that Americas economic situation then was better than now. What they fail to realize is that we are now paying for the mistakes made back then. We are still working on it today, with the block on the interest rates, we are going to see things pick up... It's not going to happen over night, but you will begin to see a change in the coming months/years...

They still think they can fix a health care system, that by and large isn't broken. They are under the understanding that a universal health care package will be good for all Americans, however, it's nothing more than another social program to rape the American economic situation.

They feel if we were to leave the middle east alone, they would leave us alone. The state of Israel, was created to give the Jews who were unjustly persecuted during the Hitler years a place to call home. The fact that America recognizes Israel, we are going to bear the wrath of the unstable minds of those who are against it.

They feel a tax increase will do no harm to an economy that is still shaking off the effects of Clinton.

-Gotta love a slanted question-you force answerers to make a choice between two stereotypes-The truth lies in the middle. Every one is in some form of denial. Denial is 100% effective. if you could bottle it you would be rich. But I'll play..The 'libs as you call them lull us to sleep about saving the middle class-who wants to stay middle class so that the rich can keep getting richer? The Cons as you call them are still arguing about Global Warming, still spinning that Arctic oil exploitation won't harm the environment.. insist that coal can be 'clean'???

liberals- they fail to realize that the world IS a dangerous and that it isnt the US that is evil. They do not understand that tax cuts boost the economy and tax increases slow it. They do not understand that forcing people into dependency only makes the problems worse- it robs people of their will, resolve and sense of purpose. (I do believe in safety nets though)
