easiest way to kill an a/c unit is by not letting it breathe. Just make sure it doesn't catch fire. Block off the return (the part that takes air in). Don't block it off completely, but pretty much suffocate it. It will overheat and kill it. Plain and simple. It may take a few tries, but you'll get it. Unless you just want to pop it open (make sure you unplug it first and DON'T touch ANY of the components!!! You will DIE!!) and pour some water on the electronics and let it rust. Over the course of a week or so, the components will be so rusty that it will break down. You can also mess with the fan. Once again, unplug the unit, and take a pair of needle nose pliers and start yanking wires to the fan motor. Good luck!!

get a job and buy your own, do you think $ grows on trees, ?
your talking about $200 to $300 here , just because it looks old, if it still works leave it alone,
Quit being a BRAT, some people don,t have a/c try staying cool with a fan , then you will appreciate things.

First off...grow up.
These cost money, as everything else. And I'm sure your father works hard for his money.

If you truly think it's ugly and want a new one, I would strongly suggest you get a job, save your money and purchase one on your own.

But don't purposely break things because you don't like them. That is very immature!

If you were my kid, I would make you go to work and buy one if you wanted a new one. If you didnt want to do that, then I would tell you to shut up and be grateful for the things that I have provided for you.
