i can't connect to my router. is it because of my WPA key??

The DS will only connect to open or WEP encrypted WiFi access points. WPA is not supported. Change your router to use WEP instead of WPA, put your WEP key into your DS and it will work.

Alright. You have a WPA key. I don't know too much about WPA keys for the DS, but mine has a WEP key. If you scan for a point, it won't work. You must enter the settings manually for the DS to connect to your access point. I would assume that the WPA key is similar to a WEP key, so just enter the wifif setting manually.

The DS only accepts WEP encryption....It does not work with the newer WPA or WPA2...
