Rye bread poll: Do you like rye bread? do you eat sandwich only on rye bread or put on fruit jam or butter?

I like rye bread for toast with butter the best. For sandwiches it is ok, but I will eat a sandwich with any type of bread. I would not like it with fruit jam, just with toast and butter or maybe a fried egg sandwich...

Rye bread is the best!

Great for any kind of sandwich under the sun -and-

Excellent for breading chicken breasts
1 coat in flour
2 dunk in beaten egg
3 coat in fresh rye crumbs
(for a tasty dish serve breasts with sauce made from cream of celery thinned with just a little milk)

I like rye bread. I only use it for sandwiches or sometimes toast...but putting jam on it might work too when it is toasted.

I've not eaten bread I do not like, though in the case heavily-processed, factory made bread, I am a bit offended, on principle. The best breads in the world do not require anything beyond flour, sugar, water,salt, and yeast as ingredients yet, for the sake of convenience, people will be feed bread filled with a long list of chemicals that insure an unnaturally long shelf-life.

love rye bread...good for so many different combo's. I do not eat fruit jam often, not to say that I won't it is just that I never do.
