It's possible.....and it's the best situation to raise children in......

It's not the only one that's acceptable......and yes, you can turn out fine individuals from other situations....

But, for everyone involved, the traditional family is still the best....

It is definetly practical, because what we are doing now is not working very well, look at the divorce rate, it is higher than when the traditional family was going along.

Possible? Yes, but we need to stop thinking as individuals and start thinking as a team again. Forget that nonesense women have a right to work and to have a career. Forget that a man has to be in control crap. Both sides need to let go of so many things and start thinking as a family, and always working for what is best for both sides, and especially the children.

It is possible and very much practical and would make the world a better place if we all treated each other with the love and respect of our older generation. (yes I know they were not all perfect, but for the most part).

It is just that we have become such a me generation that so many people in the world today think only of themselves. What do I want, whats in it for me, how will this affect me, etc.

Many people have lost all sense of responsibility, consequences, and morals to live for the moment.

It's possible. We've been doing things the traditional way for 10 years now. Practical? Of course. We're all happy and healthy. I can't imagine things any other way. :)

Very possible - some people just think that the honeymoon phase of their relationship is the way it's always going to be - so when things get a little rocky they run. If people worked a little harder at staying together then they would be providing a good start for their kids.

Of course it is.

Lots of "isms" like darwinism, socialism, feminism etc can rightfully move us to challenge and think for ourselves.

But in the end, the family unit is never obsolete and when it's done well it leads to strong individuals and strong societies.

But it's not for me.

You mean husband, wife and 2.5 kids? First, of course it is. Second, are you looking for a reason to not do this?
