I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX Sedan and still have the original tires on it. I was thinking of replacing them but didn't realize how many brands and types of tires are out there. Can someone please point me in the right direction on what types of tires I should consider.

Consumer Reports just rated the (sorry had to look this up for you) "Falkien, Ziex ZE-912 $123/per" as the best all-season tire. The best buy (the most affordable) was the Nitto Neo Gen ZR $92/per.
Thats from the November 2007 issue.
Hope that helps.
Oh hey you know what, I guess you could always replace the tires with the same brand and model as whats on there right now. Hondas are the best and wouldnt use anything that wasnt up to par for a Honda. Good Luck!!

tirerack.com sells 18 different brands of tires. Within these brands there are up to 20 different tires. If you go to any specific tire open up the word (survey). There are 15 specific eye popping tests they do on the tire you've chosen. You'll be able to decide which parts of these tests fit you the best.

You'll be able to sift the wheat (great) from the chaft (junk) quickly.

just get the same thing thats on it if you like them and if not just shop around for the same size tire in the price range you can afford, there are a lot of good tires out there that aren't even name brand.
