alright, anytime my husband and I have sex it is usaully very painful at first because the opening of my vagina usaully hurts when my husband first inserts his penis in...regardless of if my vagina is dry or wet.. its almost like a burning feeling but only on the right side of my vagina opening, I'm not sure what this is and why its doing it and its making my sex life suck!!
Also, I'm a newlywed.. and I haven't been with anyone other than my husband in a forever long time...and neither has my husband so I know it cannot be an STD
I have an appointment with gyno on January 9th......if you might know what is wrong, please let me know!!! I'm very worried!:(

Use lub and go to the doctor. You don´t have to be sexually active to get an infection, using too tight jeans, going to public restrooms and even your underwear having some left of soap can lead you to an infection, the pain or burnning you mention can be caused by an infection that can be perfectly healed with antimichotic cream and antibiotic pills maybe but you have to consult your doctor.
Good luck! ;D

It's not that uncommon, I've personally known a half dozen women with the same problem.
Like any other muscles, those can be stretched if you're careful, patient, and do it daily. 5 or 10 minutes if you can, stretched just to where it's uncomfortable but not to where it hurts. Think of it like leg stretches.
Lube up with KY or similar and insert both index fingers, and gently tug left and right for 5 or 10 seconds, straight out on the sides. release, then pull upwards. Back side to side, and you get the idea. After a while, maybe a few days or a week, move to index and middle finger on both sides.
Later on, move on to bunching your fingers in a group of 3, 4 then eventually all five, and trying to expand the opening with gentle constant pressure inwards. A rotating motion helps.
Combine this 5-10 minute routine with kegel exercises, and you'll be amazed at the results in just a few weeks.

I had a yeast infection once that made sex very unbareable! But other than that, sex always hurts at first for me, no matter how "lubed" I feel. I just always tell the guy to go very slow at first...I do alot of controlling of his thrusts...then when it feels alright, I let him do his thing...it actually is kind of a turn on for my boy...he seems to think he is too big for me to handle all at once!! LOL!!!

i was having the same thing happen and my doctor diagnosed me with something called vestibulitis. the opening of the vagina is the vestibule. all it mean is that those nerves are sensitive. there is really nothing that you can do. surgery is an option but it doesn't sound like you are in excrutiating pain..... mine even went away after a year or so.....

Get to the supermarket, and buy some Astroglide lube. Apply a lot of it to your husband's penis before insertion. See if that helps.

If you shave down there and you cut yourself, that could be a possibility, but you would definitely have known if that is what it is. I think your best bet, is just to wait until your doctor's appt. and see what they have to say. Hope it gets better.

FOREPLAY IS A KEY. NEVER HAVE DRY SEX, OUCH.
IF IT ONLY HURTS AT THE BEGINNING THEN YOU'RE NOT ALLOWING FOR ENOUGH LUBRICATION.
