All I can recall is that someone was Poisoned...or Ill, and a friend had to search for a cure, possibly a plant or flower. Maybe a Lilly. It has been bugging me for months now!

All I can recall is that someone was Poisoned...or Ill, and a friend had to search for a cure, possibly a plant or flower. Maybe a Lilly. It has been bugging me for months now!

(Edit, this is what my Girlfriend can remember of it...)
right...at the start of this childrens cartoon/film, a gas tanker crashes and it leaks into the forest, and kills all plants etc. there's little animals, one of the animals, i THINK a skunk or something...goes unconscious and the only way to stop her form dying is for her friends to go find a certain plant that they need to make medicine for there friend to survive. anyways, they eventually get to this valley or field or meadow and then they make a plane to get back home in time...dammit...don't remember too much of it, just remember it was an awesome film...I think that somewhere through the film the little animal friends have to hide from owls or hawks or something as they would eat them...sorry, thats not very much to go on!

First, I thought it was FernGully. I looked in Wikipedia and it was not. From there I searched Environmental Movies and there it was: Once Upon a Forest.
I remember watching it a long time ago.

I have a lovevird and he is great but needs a lot of attention and takes more time for training. I think the best starter bird would be a cockatiel. My friend has one and he is so sweet. They learn quickly and attach to you pretty early on. The daily responsibilities include feeding them seed, pellets and other nutritious things like fruit and veggies. You will need to change the water at least two times a day to make sure that there is no bacteria in the water dish. Cleaning the cage every 2 weeks has worked well for me although some would suggest once a week. You will want to spend some time with your new bird every day practicing step ups and whistles. The cost for a cage, bird, food and toys will be around $150 - $300 depending on where you get it. Make sure the bird you pick is healthy and happy. If the feathers are not looking nice then the bird may be a little depressed or not have been cared for very well at the pet shop. Hold the bird and see if there is a connection before you just pick one. Hope you find a great pet!

Are you sure you aren't thinking about a Midsummer Nights Dream by Shakespeare? There was a cartoon version of it.
In the play, Puck is commanded out of spite to find a flower in a distant land by Oberon to make Titania fall in love with something ugly (who Oberon engineers to be 'Bottom', whom he gives an asses head to).
