I havethis problem which I am sure other wives have as well. My husband works a 40hours week job. I am homw at the time with our two children, 3 years and 6 months. I am a full time student and take care of everything around the house as well as bills and the likes.
Next week I am starting a part time job, because I am sick of my husband saying I am not doing anything. It is relly hard to get things done when constantly someone cries and needs something. I was recently honored with an award for outstanding academic performance, and I am a foreigner. All these thing I do or achieve and still, my husband doesn't notice any of them, and he doesn't help out at all. What can I do to make him understand that I need help?
Thank you guys.

Tell him you are going to put him totally in charge for a week-end. Then leave. See how he copes with all of the work.
You need to talk to a marriage couselor. Your husband is demanding and sounds abusive.

Try being a single mom, then there won't be the option to have someone around to help, but you still manage to get it done. This is why I'm not in a partnership or living with my man. I don't need the aggravation. Sure a partnership is 50/50. But if he's paying all the bills, then its your responsibility to care for the home. The children should be cared for by both.
