This shouldn't surprise anyone. It has been like this from day one. Observing GWB prior to the 2000 election it still baffles me why anyone who was even paying half attention would have voted for him. Many regret it now.

Not anything, but there's a handful of stuff that is plausible. It's not all or nothing, finding evidence of the truth being told doesn't mean believe everything. Likewise, uncovering one lie or one stretch of the truth or misdeed doesn't mean everything is a lie and a sham. You gotta take the tin foil off and put the thinking cap on.

this is definitely not my idea of transparent government.

Seems more and more the government owns the people, instead of the people owning the government. Most Americans have no clue what their government has been up to.
