When I was pregnant with my son, I woke up to this sharp pain by my right shoulder blade on my back. I thought maybe I slept on it wrong, but it continued to the next day. I went to the doctor and found out I had a pinched nerve and he gave me muscle relaxers. After one dose it was gone and never came back. I suggest making an appointment to get it checked out.

There is probably a lot of strain on your back.
Try taking some sort of pain relief and just rest and relax.

Also a hot, warm bath may help.

try watching how you are sitting and walking. it is probably due to you getting larger and your back pushing out to compensate so you dont topple over. also, dont cross your legs, this will make it worse and make your feet and legs swell. otherwise use a heat pad or rice sock (you can take this to bed with you to help you sleep). ask your doctor what pain meds you can take. they all say different things. if i dont know, i will go to the pharmasits and ask them.
