I had to call in a few weeks ago because my car died, and I am not going to work again today because my car is really dead this time. Ive been working there for 2 years, and Ive probably only missed maybe 5 days this whole year, tops. Would you say i blew it? I said I was going to be late, but my ride still isn't here after an hour and a half.

Depending on if your boss is a prick.
Don't you have any personal time?
You say, that today your car is "really" dead.
It sounds like you are making up stories to get out of work.
I don't think anything will happen, but maybe getting written up for it.
I wouldn't worry about it for now.

I would keep calling my employer. I would call every five minutes if need be. Let them know you are trying to get to work. When you get there, be up front with your supervisor about what is going on and what you are going to do to fix the problem. You should be ok.

I would say I hope you didn't blow it and hope that you have a understanding boss.
I wish you good luck and hope that you get your car working again soon!
Can you make up the hours that you missed?

all depends on how well you get along with the boss.
Sounds like you should be ok, but make sure not to make a habit of being late or not showing up.
it is always best to call in.

call work and tell them your rides isn't there yet. People get fired because they just don't show up and never tell anyone

Yeah but you should call your boss and start crying. If you're a man crying helps even more.
