NO! It's not safe. Big risk of dehydration.

Just wait it out. Come on. You can do it...you're not the first in this situation and you won't be the last. Patience.

I did it and I stayed active afterwards and that evening I had my son. I walked the mall, power drank the Castor Oil then I Walked the Neighborhood, I told the father it was time to go walk the mall and then check into the hospital. When I arrived my contractions were 1 1/2 minutes apart and I was dialted to 4 cm

Taking castor oil greatly increases the risk that baby will have a bowel movement before birth and if baby ingest the meconium it can be very dangerous to baby.

Plus it will leave you stuck on the toilet even more miserable than you are now.

Nature will takes it's course. You've waited this long, what's a few more days?

NO and it doesn't work for all women. What it will do is make you sick causing contractions if your cervix isn't soft it won't do anything. you will have diareah and be sick alot. I wouldn't do it and i'm DESPERATE to get this kid out. Sex is the best thing 1)sperm has a chemical that cause the cervix to soften and 2) orgasm will cause contractions helping it to open for you. Walking helps too. Just realax it will come in time i know what it's like to be restless to get them babies out my first was 10days late and only came when he was induced. Maybe ask your doc to strip your membranes that helps to.

It does not work, it only gives you diahrea
Eat some spicy foods, take a long walk and have some sex if the dr said it is ok

It may not really work but it's safe I'd think. Try having sex or walking a lot ♥♥ Good luck and congrats!

I did 22 years ago..I wanted my daughter born on my birthday, the midwife told me to start taking castor oil at midnight on the 10th (11th)...I had to mix it in orange juice and put in a shot of vodka....man, I went into labor quick. She was born at 4am.....only 4 hours later......you take the mixture every 4 hours........good luck.....

I would ask your doctor or a midwife..I wouldn't just do it on your own because there could be complications...Try walking, sex or nipple stimulation..It worked for me,sent me into labor on my due date
