Interviewer: Mick St. John, thank you for joining us tonight.

Mick: Thank you.

Interviewer: So, what's it like to be a vampire?

Mick: Well, being a vampire sucks. It's a bad joke I know, but it's the truth.

Interviewer: What's it like being immortal?

Mick: Well, if we feed we don't age, but you can kill us.

Interviewer: How do you kill a vampire? Wooden stake I'm guessing.

Mick: No, a wooden stake won't kill a vampire. A flame thrower, that'll kill a vampire. Or we can lose our heads literally. Other than that we heal.

Interviewer: Can I see your fangs?

Mick: After the interview

Interviewer: So, do you drink blood?

Mick: Why? You offering?

Interviewer: Um....

Mick: I'm just kidding. Yeah, I have a guy.

Interviewer: You mean like a dealer?

Mick: Yeah, like a dealer. He works at a blood bank.

Interviewer: So you never bite anybody.

Mick: No, well.....unless they really deserve it.

Interviewer: So, what does it actually feel like when you turn into a monster?

Mick: Nothing

Interviewer: Do you sleep in a coffin?

Mick: No, that's an old wives tale. I sleep in a freezer, and while we're on the subject, garlic is tasty on pizza.

Interviewer: Does it repel you?

Mick: My dates, sometimes. Toss holy water on me I get wet. Crucifixes, ok if you like that kind of thing. Oh, and I definitely cannot turn into a bat. That'd be cool though wouldn't it?

Interviewer: What about daylight?

Mick: Daylight's not good. Daylight's not good. The more I'm in the sun the worse I feel.

Interviewer: But you don't burst into flames.

Mick: No, not if I can help it.

Interviewer: And what's it like being nocturnal?

Mick: It's cool. The surf breaks are empty, and there's never any crowds on the golf course. I can get an 18 in like two hours.

Yes they said it was a myth and that they just couldn't stay long or in direct sunlight. The one episode had him and the person he was protecting walking through the dessert after their car broke down/blew up(i don't remember which). He got sick and needed to feed to get better. (Beth came and fed him from her own wrist.) Also when they got to cover he got into a tub and filled it with ice. THat's how they have them sleeping. Not in ice but in a cold refrigerated type of coffin.

I absolutely LOVE this show! He usually shields his eyes when he's outside in the direct light I've noticed, but he wears sunglasses most of the time when he's out. But I've noticed he doesn't stay out in it for any great length of time. Other than the episode when he got very very sick from being stuck in the desert sun and Beth let him feed on her. This show ROCKS!

I haven't seen all the episodes..but I do remember in one episode it was mentioned that the vampire/ no sunlight thing was a myth.
Vampires can go out in sunlight..it's just if they stay in direct sunlight for too long..and without feeding they will die.

In the first episode Mick explained that the Sun is just painful that it won't kill them. This of course sucks for Angel too bad he did not get that memo.

LOL!

- some opportunities - - lead them to 0.5 vampires / 0.5 human - - have them seem purely while there is an entire eclipse of the solar. - droop disbelief approximately vampires and set up your guy or woman experience of certainty on your e book.; it incredibly is fiction besides, some regulations could nicely be bent.
