i cant build anything on construct mode........i play without disc

Below is a list of cheats. This is not only regarding build mode. You might need it in the future.
Cheat List
Press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up the cheat console.
Add 1,000 dollars to household funds: Kaching
Move unmovable objects and put them in illegal places: Moveobjects on/off
Sims won't age: Aging on/off
Changes Sim's height: StretchSkeleton 1.0 where 1.0 is the default. (Courtesy Ellen Tansey)
Toggles notification of available game patches: Autopatch on/off
Turning off for better game performance with some graphical errors: Vsync on/off
Turns off facial bounding limitations. It prevents the normal corrections the game will make for two parents with very different facial structures: faceBlendLimits (on/off)
Lists some, but not all cheats: Help
Closes cheat window: Exit
Expands or contracts the cheat window: Expand
Use false to place the objects out of grid: boolProp snapObjectsToGrid true/false

First, insert disc into drive E. Once the game is loaded, you can, if you wish, remove the disc. It would be better if you leave it in. If you are playing from a download or file share game, then you have been messed with by whoever you got it from. You should delete that version and not go back to that website. You could be traced. Some people get their kicks putting up messed up files on illegal filesharing sites.

Since you're playing without a disc, I assume that means you have an illegal version of the software. That's the problem right there. Don't pirate software; go out and buy the real version, support the creators, and thus have no problems with gameplay.

you can't play sims 2 without the disk or else you can't see the arrow and surely you can't build!

um mayb it wud help to have a disc cuz when i play games without discs it doesn't let me do somethings

if its no longer lettinq you, your qame is probable tousled. chek if its scratched cuz once you qo 2 build you ought to be waiting to click what you want and be conscious it to tha domicile. i by no skill had that situation

without disc?!?!?!? i havent heard of that possibility before.. bust be a fake disc... go buy a real one or try putting in the disc..
