I was attacked and raped a little over 2 months ago, and now I am 2 months late. I take BC pills religiously (0630 every morning). I was really stressed out last month, but took a HPT and it was neg. So I chalked it up to being stressed. This month I am late again, so I took another test... still neg. Now before you tell me to go to the OBGYN, I have an appointment for Monday. I have all the symptoms that I normally have for my period, minus the period part if that makes any sense. Do you think that I am still stressing so much that it is delaying my period?

Please give only serious replies. I am stressed out enough.

Thank you all for your replies so far.. I did report it even thought they told me that it was unlikely that they would catch them. I have already gotten tested for any possible STD, and I am clean. This really sucks, and is so unfair. I wish no one ever had to go through this. I cant really trust anyone anymore.

I'm sorry to hear about your attack honey. Stress will totally make your period late. Talk to your doctor about a mild anti-anxiety drug. It will help take the edge off and clam you down a bit. And see if they can set you up with a counsellor to talk to.

A traumatic experience to your body, such as rape can throw you off balance. I would safely assume that you are not pregnant, but extremely stressed. If you were raped only 2 months ago, then you are still going through a terrible time. You will need to get tested for STD's though. There may have been some damage to you uterus and the opening, which is the cervix. Talk to your doctor about your body, but if you haven't already done so, talk to someone else about "You". Your mind and heart need as much if not more healing than your body. Good luck and God Bless you. I understand how hard this is for you, yes I can say that, I have been where you are. Have faith in yourself and the people around you that love you and in time you will heal.

It could be the BC you are taking. I used to use BC and I would occasionally just miss one or more periods. The dosage could be too high . It is probably becuase you are taking the pills that advertise the "short period" and its not giving you body enough time to actually have a period before you start a new pac. obviously stress proably is a factor too. besides think of it this way if you were two onths pregnant im sure you would kow. by 2 months you would definitly have soe morning sickness and a ept would have come up posititve. I have had these same scares so i know what its like. please try not to worry but its best you are going to the OBGYN.

good luck. you will be fine.

If you were raped and the rapist did not use a condom, then there is a HUGE chance you could be pregnant.

If you find out you are pregnant by some asshole who raped you, what will you do?

Do you believe in abortion? Or will you go on and have it?

When you go to the OBGYN, please have an STD test done.

I am very sorry that this awful thing happened to you.

May God Bless you and watch over you at all times!

If you're on the pill and stressed, or even just on the pill, you can not have a period. You dont have to bleed on the pill, even on the placebo week, many women dont.

You need to report your rape if you havent yet. Keeping quiet about that sort of thing keeps you from getting closure, and puts other women at risk because he is still out there.

Step up and do the right thing for your healing- report it.

It honestly could be stress that is causing it to be late. Try to relax. I am so sorry for what you've gone through. I couldn't imagine what it's been like for you these past couple of months. Best of luck to you with your appointment.

Im really sorry for what happened to you.
I think you need to see your doctor, tell him what happened to you, and that you have not had a period in 2 months.
Good luck to you.

first off- I am very sorry that happened to you.

if you are very good about taking your BC, you should be fine and it may just be stress. your OB can give you more info at your appointment but it sounds like you are not pregnant.
