Ok so i was at a party about a month ago and i was only going to make sure that my friends made it home safely, i know that you arnt supposed to drink things at parties because you never know whats in them but i wasnt thinking and i had some punch(well more than some-quite a bit of punch) i dont really remember what happened after that, i mean i remember standing there and watching the party and then the next thing i know im at home in my bed and its the next day. well my real delima is that i have been feeling really tired and wierd and ihave missed my period so i bought a test and it was positive! so now i am pregnant and i have no idea who the father is, and i am only 18 and i depend on my parents still! my family is very religious and would flip out if they found out about this! i dont know how to tell them or if i even should! please give me some advise on what to do!

You still shouldn't have blacked out that night even with drinking a lot of punch. I have had nights where I drank wayyy tooo much but I still remember at least some of the night. Maybe it was spiked with a date rape drug. It's probably too late to be tested-I think it only lasts a week in your system but if you suspect that you might should make a police report. If this is the case I'm sure your parents will be disappointed you were drinking but it's not your fault if someone took advantage of you.

OK if you have no recollection of how you got pregnant then in England it is called RAPE. What worries me is you have no recollection of getting into bed... talk to your friends at the party find out if anyone was taking a special interest in you. Also you really need to go and have a full screening of all sexual diseases as you know that whoever had sex with you used no contraception. Talk to your doctor or a nurse about what happened and they will give you medical advise.
I am so worried for you because you were obviously not in a fit state to give consent to sex and that is Rape, maybe you could and should talk to the police and find out where they stand on consent.
Then talk to your parents...explain to them what has happened that yes you had a few drinks but you never gave consent to sex (because you didn't),
Good luck with everything....and please get tested for more than just pregnancy.

Find out what really happened and take it a step at a time. Sit your parents down and explain what happened. Then i would go to the police and tell them you were raped...explain the whole thing to them (Don't worry about the drinking). They can take a blood sample of the utrus and run it against the DNA of people at the party. Don't get an abortion.... you'll feel even worse after that... if you have to, put your baby up for adoption when it is born... its better then killing it before it lives

sorry this has happened to you. it happened to me when i was 19. firstly tell your parents and file a police report, i wish i had. the cops will investigate it. also talk to your friends find out what you can get to the doctor also get tested for stds and pregnancy
thirdly dont put yourself in a place to let this happen again. bring your own safe drink if you must go to parties and never let it out your sight. let this be a lesson learned.
the punch obviously had alcohol in it. and probably ghb. did you take any pills from any one sit and think back to before you woke up at home. as hard as it will be you have to remember something anything would help you
good luck oh and some counseling would be good too you were violated drugged and raped its a crime

having an abortion is 1 option, i wouldnt recommend it, its very hard and very emotional and it will mess you up for a while. but since you are 18, you can do it without having to involve your parents, it takes a full day, its 300 dollars and your not sick or anything afterwards, but you do need someone to drive you and stay with you, you will be sedated for a few hrs.
you can have this baby, not know who the father is, when its born have a DNA test and subpoena the guys who were at the party to court for them to be tested. if you do that then i would go to the POLICE ASAP And tell them what happened word for word! then when you find out who the father is he will be arrested for rape and you will get your child support from the state until hes released and gets a job . good luck!
HAVING THE BABY IS THE BEST OPTION!!! there are ways to get thru this!

I am sorry for you if your parents are easy going talk to them let them help you decide with you because they will be the ones there for you believe it or not
If they are not then you must make a decision keep it or not have it give it up how do you feel about such things and can you live with yourself with your decision and ps DO NOT GO TO ANYMORE PARTY'S its for your on good and maybe better check for std

First i would get yourself tested as the worse thing you could get if you blacked out is an STD of some kind and your pregnant you need to decide what to do for yourself your an adult at 18 you need to make a decision what to do next ... talk to you GP they will test you for infection and pregnancy , then sit and talk to your parents they do need to know, they should support you no matter what you decide

You need to go to the doctor first -- get it confirmed. Those tests are almost always right, but you should still get it confirmed. And you need a support system right now - your parents, your friends, even, believe it or not, your priest. You are not alone, and this will be stressful enough without a Secret hanging over you. Worse things than teen pregnency have happened to families, and especially if your family is religious you should be able to get through it together.

It sounds as though you may have been given the date rape drug and this is why you have no memory of this.
You need to ask if any of your friends saw what happened at this party.
You also have to tell your parents that you are pregnant - I am sure they will be fine - yes they will be disappointed when they first hear it - but when you explain what happened they will be understanding.

Oh my gosh you poor thing. First thing is if you feel you cannot tell your parents living with them, find an appartment and move, THEN tell them. Or you could always tell them when they are at work cuz then they wont get so mad cuz other co-workers are watching, and listening to their parenting skills. Abortion is always a posiblity, but i am personally against it. You could think of haveing the baby and getting it adopted as well if you feel you cant support it. Were any of your friends at this party, they could maybe tell you what happened as well
