I would not in these days & times ask the government for disaster relief. Its sad to say but our Government isn't in our hands anymore. They are taking it away for their new agenda(! wolrd government) That's 1 main reason why after Katrina hit that so many people were out of work & weren't allowed back home. So many things I would be more concerned about then looking to them for help. Read your Bible & you will find out how this scenario works out. In the end Jesus is coming back & He is the 1 I look to for my daily needs, not man. Jesus is the Way the Truth & the Life.

The Red Cross, FEMA, as mentioned before, the police, fire fighters, paramedics.

Emergency response, mainly--firemen, medics, police to deal with the immediate problem.
