So yesterday I posted a fun lil question asking if anyone had ever heard of Matt Morellie and attached a link. Now Matt Morellie is a guyy who trains his pet moose to do tricks. I thought it was neat b/c he had the moose in a horse harness and pulling logs. Well YA deleted my question saying it was not a question or answer. To my knowledge when you put "EVER HEARD OF MATT MORELLIE???" and make sure it has a question mark after it then it is a question... what gives. I didn't get to ready any answers and apaprently I had 13

Read the YA! Community Standards and study them closely. Then adhere to them rigidly. This includes rules like making sure your question is a question, not engaging in chat, etc. Since I started participating in the Middle East Travel section, I have had to be more careful about following the guidelines, even in matters when a little playing around seems harmless. Obey the Standards and, if you are reported for violation, you can appeal and win.

I have no idea - I did answer that one even though I couldn't get the link to work - I was just about to go back and see if you'd added any more links.
I guess someone didn't like it.
Getting a bit silly around here lately.

Because it is now against the yahoo Q&A rules to post links!

They are cracking down on this. People need to complain, because links are a great way to pass on information!

After all, we are not supose to "steal" copyrighted info, so instead we post a link. This however has become against Yahoo rules too.

Please see this question I answered the other day:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhUZ9f.6KuXPtd8hABK6y_Hty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071204165511AAWrVyh&show=7#profile-info-uVH3IoTjaa

(Yahoo does not seem to be deleting links to other yahoo questions....yet)

This is where I found out about it.

I liked the link and sent it on to others. The rules are a mystery to me. I had a question deleted for containing a link, but I see awful rants in other sections that use foul language and mean spirited thoughts. I guess links are bad and hatred is OK. ??????????? WTF

I also notice that the anonymous thumbs downer has visited

sounds about right, I just got a violation notice.
My response to a question was,
"i can't think of a better response than the person above me, they have answered it perfectly. Give them the 10 pts."

Violation? 'Neither a question or an answer.'
