Sadly it's become about making sure that those groups you HATE don't have the same rights you do.
There is nothing fiscally or compassionately conservative about this bunch. They swept into power preaching hatred for gays, choice and diversity and the people we blind enough to vote AGAINST certain groups rather that vote FOR their best interests.
Sad to say, but the country is getting exactly what it deserves.

These are not traditional republican values. The traditional values of the republican party were to protect the conservative right of privacy and property to put it plainly.
In the last 12 years we have been subjected to various degrees of evil from both parties who are working together with special interest groups and it seems like people are still devided down political lines and brow-beating each other with party affiliations.
Before you bash the GOP (and I do not support what they have turned in to), please take a step back and take a look at what the Democrats have turned into. They also stand for big business (they consistently vote down those lines), higher taxes, sticter laws, less privacy etc. Neither party is at the top of their game because they have both been corrupted by special interests and neither of the parties are interested in the will of the people.
My suggestion is that you vote for what the constitution stands for. (not a party affiliation or some argumentative prick that cares nothing about you or your values)

Wow, what is with the GOP hatin'! Clearly you are a dyed in the wool Blue Liberal and so you will choose some crazy liberal answer, but I want my points, so we GOP'ers enjoy voting republican because we like getting the money back that we earned. Unlike the dems that like to take my money and give it to someone who has 12 kids and sits at home doing nothing, living off the public trough.
So the real question is, why would anybody besides the welfare check'ers vote for democrats? I've wondered that question for years.

i'm a salary earner, and that i'm a registered self reliant, balloting REPUBLICAN this time. Now i understand you're thinking, we salary earners continually vote democratic, considering that'sthe celebration for the human beings. nicely, you realize what, you notice what the dems gave us final time. And that, it variety of feels, is spent extra often than not for the human beings who won't be able to vote (with the aid of fact they are no longer criminal). i'm somewhat ticked off with that. Time for a metamorphosis, thank you !

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.
Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).
Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.
Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.
Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents, and false government.

The bigger question is why would a wage EARNER vote for a democrat when they steal from wage earners to give to those who refuse to work, support unions unconditionally (unions protect lazy workers far too often), are in the pocket of radical environmentalists whose policies are often bad for the environment (ex: not cutting forests which leads to massive wild fires), they force people into dependency, strip them of dignity and pride, push the living wage though it means that costs of good will increase and your dollar will be worth less anyways pushing you further behind...
There is nothing good about democrats today.
PS: I have no issue with fighting for a FAIR wage or SAFE working conditions but having been in union shops, I see the riff raff that they protect (and must) with as much energy as they do the good workers. I think everyone here knows some sh1t head that has been protected that shouldnt have been. Also, unions shouldnt tell people they cant do something ex: truck driver being told he CANNOT help the loader load his truck if he WANTS to. Ridiculous.
Not to mention that MODERN democrats come off as anti American as can be- try rooting for the home team once in a while

I think you are a non voter with a beef. most wage-earners want to keep most of their money. the Democrats believe you are too stupid to manage your own funds, so they over tax you and put the blame on others. put Hillery in the big house so you can see less of your earnings and more of Bill Clinton. America can not afford another 4 years with another Clinton

The GOP doesnt' stand just by Big Business the stand by all business and a free market. It's extreamly hard to earn wages if there is not one to earn wages from.
And that's why as a person who earns my wages from a small business owner, I will continue to vote Republican.

Because they are laughably misguided like most of those who've responded to you so far - I always get a kick out of how the vast majority of them generally have a similiar reply to this line of query - "Because the Repubs let me keep more of my own money-!" I don't see what good that does them when they end up spending far more than the Repubs could ever give them back in taxes on the increase in cost of living (Gas prices, Health Care, Etc.) that skyrockets every time one of them gets elected...

Because the Dem candidates are just so pathetic! I'm a registered Dem and will vote in my primary against Clinton, but if the DNC is foolish enough to let her get the nomination I will AGAIN be forced to vote for the Repub.

Because we don't want our taxes raised, we like tax cuts and we are tired of paying for so many Democratic slugs, while they use the money to buy beer, cigarettes and gamble.
