I live in a small rural town yet there is a youngster who fits this description totally and I have always said he would end up on the front page. Only difference is he is in a mental health facilty for threatening to kill his adoptive mother, not step mother.

And there is nothing anyone can do about him untilhe commits a crime, I have been told by police.

do you have someone in your town like that?

A few years back in a few towns over we had a boy snap and shoot his adoptive mother also. In the town I live in I can completely see something like that happening, unfortunately. We live in a very small town with a small k-12 school with just about 400 kids. If you are not a jock you get pushed to the side and bullied. this will someday make a kid snap, no matter how much we hope it doesn't.

Well if you mean a freak that's on a SSRI, and probably one that affects theri dopimine, sure. Most town have this. I find it amazing that the news does not report that most of these idiots are on something like Prozac or Effesor. j the Columbine nuts where and others.

The mind is complex and I know that some have been really helped by SSRIs, but many can not take them. As far as depression you can get the same effect from St. John's Wort and it is used by doctors over 90% in Europe, even though they can get all these meds we have for nothing, makes yo wonder. Bet this kid was on one.

Until they stop testing these things on us until they know they are safe and monitor the persons, unfortunately stuff like this will happen.

Were I live 'things are taken care of" before they start most of the time. Take care. By the way most of these folks have 'mental prblems' already and hats off to WWA as they have passed laws that would stop a nut from legally getting a gun.

There are many people in many places who fit the this description. We live in a troubled world and a troubled society.

Some are not able to cope as well as others, and this unfortunately is what happens in certain cases. This young man needed help, love, and guidance! Many children and young folks are left alone today to try and figure life out for themselves....which can be complicated, especially when the adults around them don't seem to have a handle on it either.

In 2Timothy3: 1-5, the bible tells us that these are critical times hard to deal with....it goes on to describe some who would be "fierce" [having animal-like characteristics] "having no natural affection" and so on.....

We see this daily! What's the solution? God's Kingdom!
