ask for hot water. they make tea on a plane......so they have hot water. put the babies jar of food/bottle in a cup of hot water for a couple of minutes. stir and test the temp before serving.

room temp is okay if you have to.......but hot water works best.
i have done this when i had one of mine around the same age on a plane.

At 1 year she really can eat whatever you're eating, and maybe a jar or two of regular babyfood. You dont HAVE to heat the jars they'll be room temperature. And the food you eat with be warm if you want it to be.

my 10 month old wont eat baby food or nurse anymore, he has milk and table food.

You could make up some porridge, as you call it, enough for the flight and keep it in a tupperware container to feed her on the plane. And pack your pot and porridge mix to prepare once you're there.

A lot of the time the flight attendants will take your container of porridge and warm it up for you, and in some cases they've even let me in the kitchen to do it myself.

But in a pinch room temperature, few hours old, porridge and part of moms meal is enough to get a baby through a flight.

You'll be fine.

you may order porridge or congee from restaurants.
In order to heat it up, do ask the for hot water .
Best is to be sure your container is "microwaveable".
Food for adults normally contains msg, salt and other spices or herbs. And always carry along your baby favourite toy/s.
