I choose my own destiny, but that doesn't mean I totally ignore some wishes or traditions. You would appear to be a total jerk if you didn't participate in family traditions.

I choose my own destiny.I care about what my family wants me to do, but if I dont agree with them, I will do what I want to do. I may ask their opinion, but when all is said and done, I listen to myself.
