Yes, I'm a vegetarian and I'm proud of it, and also meeting someone with the same thoughts and opinions about vegetarianism.
I have always had a really bad feeling when I see someone chew meat, slaughter animals, poach and kill chimpanzees for instance. Recently, I watched a show on discovery channel that in some place like Africa or something they even illegally trade crocodile's meat ? Can you believe that? I did not.

Ok, now let's list out the reasons why we vegetarians are so proud of being one and called as a vegetarian. This will help put my opinions into perspective.
The first thing is that we don't have the guilty feeling of hurting animals because we don't butcher them and fry and cook and munch on their flesh. { i sound like a non vegetarian , don't I :)) }. It feels bad to cause someone pain just to satisfy our hunger. Imagine the pain it would cause the animals who are so helplessly placed into our hands. They can't even defend themselves. I have seen a video in a presentation which made be cry bitterly because it showed chicks being chopped off their beaks , blood oozing out of their mouth which had a beak before it was being sliced on a machine, then I saw the killing of a pig, which was being chopped off its hoofs and then hung upside down, the stomach being cut by the butcher, the pig struggling in pain. And many more sad things. It really hurt me.
Secondly, we have a plus that we are more healthier, because most of the vegetables that we eat help us physiologically. They have all the nutrition that a human being requires. I don't use leather stuffs or any animal products.
I might sound a bit wrong to the non - vegetarians but hey that's what I'm supposed to do here, send my opinion.
I also got to know that to make a beef the amount of water that is utilized can be supplied to a big area of rice crops. So it is a wastage of water in this case.
You might say that if everyone eats vegetables then we might lack them someday, but that will not happen because plants never die, there is always a new variety coming .
Eating meat can make people inhuman because there is always a crave for new type of creature to savour , from chicken to beef , then snakes and camels.
So, I think most of you will not consider my opinion as a right one but I believe in vegetarianism and love to spread this message, green makes you healthy :)

Yes.Because i never liked meat as a child anyway, and i dont see why something like a chicken or cow has to die just so i can eat it for "taste" ( because we dont NEED to eat meat to survive...so realy we just eat it out of desire for certain taste/texture) That taste and texture i personaly dont like, so why to kill a living being for me to eat something i dont even want anyway!?

i'm not a vegetarian, personally i think that vegetarianism is a bit pointless, but don't get upset about that. in the wild, all animals are killed by others anyway, and if an animal has had a good life and a humane killing, then it is only fair and probably much nicer than being in the wild. it's just natural and healthy to eat meat.
