I just heard on the radio that today is C. Thomas Howells birthday. He is 41, I believe. This blows my mind - he was one of *the teen heart throbs* back in my day and now hes 41! Why does that seem old to me? I'm 38......
He was in this movie with Lori Loughlin and Kelly Preston....called *Secret Admirer* very cheesey yet so funny. Its about a guy (Howell) who is in *love* with a girl (Kelly Preston).....his BFF (Loughlin) helps him write her a love letter - all the while SHE is in *love* with him, but he doesn't know it. This love letter gets passed around, each person thinking it was written just for them.....finally, he realizes that the girl he is in *love* with is too superficial and that his BFF is really the girl for him....typical '80s teen movie...but I LOVE it!
He was also in *The Outsiders* as PonyBoy.....another favorite '80s movie of mine (the book was even better than the movie though)
