O come all ye faithfull, although I prefer the latin Adeste fideles, must be the old catholic upbringing....but always reminds me of Christmas and Midnight mass.......

My husband would say it was me(being a Carol,born at Xmas).
This Xmas Carol's favourite Xmas Carol is also 'Silent Night'.

As for the popular ones God rest ye merry gentlemen is my favourite - mostly because it's different as it's in a minor key.

Silent night is wonderl but 'Away in a Manger' especially sung by kids - brings a tingle to the back of my neck.

all i want for christmas is you... i want the upbeat type. because it's entertaining. and trust me it is not just a song~ it's also considered a carol in the modern era. hehe.
