Not much to say really, we organised to meet and bus into town, I went to the stop and waited there for close to half hour and went home. Turns out they left without me because 'the mobile was dead and they didn't know whether I was still coming'.
In short I was ditched, it's not the first time something like this has happened, and I've had it up to the eyeballs. is it time to get new friends?

The time I would have been threw with them. No cell phone available. True friends don't treat others that way. Found some new friends that are considerate of your feelings.

Well let me ask you this... if they tried to get a hold of you, your cellphone was dead, this isn't the first time and they weren't sure if you were coming? Then could it be you? It doesn't sound like your very responsible. Your cellphone was dead.. do you not charge your phone. They weren't sure you would show... which means you are ususally not on time or you don't show at all sometimes. They did try to call you. I think you might want to talk with your friends and get an answer. If none of these things are correct and they just keep ditching you then Yes you need to find new friends.

Well, how on earth can you ditch them if you were ditched? Seems like the ditching was already done. If you want to quit being friends with them that sounds a bit immature. Do you have a history of NOT showing up? If not then maybe you should find some new ones but just remember Friends are not like underwear, they are great and something that you really want to hang on too!

I don't know that I would ditch them entirely, perhaps just start making new friends that don't include that group. Then when you have plans with the new ones and the old friends ask you to join them, you'll be able to say that you "already have other plans with some friends, maybe next time." Perhaps, after a while, they will get the message. Friendship needs an effort made by both parties in order to maintain it and keep it strong. When one or the other party stops making the effort, the friendship suffers.

I dont think you too should,
its very difficult and takes a lots of time to find a worthy person to be friend,
so one should avoid hurting, it doesn't solve any problem, rather increases worries.
