I have this project and I have to do research on cultures and customs. But I'm just wondering if they mean the same thing..

And what does cultures and customs involve?

Cultures is more a way of thinking, a way of life. Customs are the traditions that a certain culture implements.

a culture is a certain group of people; or a certain set of beliefs.

a custom is something that is done in a culture.
Like; it is a custom to put up a tree at christmas.
