i found a bunch of silver dollars from 1972, 1974, and 1976 are they worth anything?

In circulated grades they are not worth more than the $1. They are not made of silver but are copper-nickel clad. They did make some 40% silver ones but they came in special packaging and had to be ordered from the mint. Maybe some day in the future they may catch on, I put an uncirculated and proof coin set of them together. It was inexpensive and time will tell. No harm in holding your if you can aford to do so.

They made so many of them, even for the dollar coin (the face btw is Susan B. Anthony), if they've been circulated than they are worth exactly the same as any dollar, nickel, dime, or quarter is worth.
