Its amazing how the Clinton administration decimated our covert services....it was such a critical devastating move that one can only wonder why in the world he would do it??....my thought is that he never worried about Americas future..all he worried about was what happened during HIS term as president...HIS legacy....and we suffered from his selfish arrogant act on 9/11!!! Its so funny how the media and libs made such a fuss about Valerie Plame being outed...THE CLINTONS OUTED ALL OF THEM!!! He kicked them OUT OF A JOB!!....You had to imagine our enemy chuckling and shaking their heads at our leaderships stupidity for doing that...

The CIA thought that the internet was their greatest way to keep track of would be rats and scoundrels, combined with their NSA listening rooms in all telephone exchanges they thought they could track down anyone by monitoring their bank transactions, flybuy purchases, medical records, emails, forum groups discussion boards, even cell phones sitting in their desktop chargers can be tapped into and used as listening devices for krissakes, they thought it would save billions in manpower, field agents, trainers, transport, and safe houses, etc, and maybe oneday they will have total control over all electronic intel, who knows? Maybe when all newborn babies are fitted with GPS chips, thats when theyll feel like theyve got it sussed?

Well this sounds like a comment by Limbaugh simplistically sweeping a judgment about the Clinton administration concerning intelligence professionals.
Fact is, people at the DIA and CIA knew full well that the arguments about Iraq in '02 having ties to alqaeda and wmd were flimsy at best, and, down right deceitful mangling of intelligence reports by the white house and correspondingly the media, at worst.
Unfortunately the White House did not fancy drilling down to get the facts straight. They merely looked for scant evidence to provide the public with a course they were set upon for reasons that had nothing to do with Iraq being a viable threat to America's sovereignty, and, security.

And yet the mastermind of the 1993 Trade Center attack - Omar Abdel-Rahman - sits in prison.
Where 's Osama?
And they knew enough to pass on a report called "AlQaida Determined to strike in the US", which was ignored.
It wasn't the intel that was faulty.
