I have one that does and one that doesn't, I feel sorry for the one that doesn't but she specifically approached me and demanded the truth! LOL (she had heard whispers at school)
Ah, its not the same once you know is it?

What about your house?

I cant believe you're telling me hes not real!
I'm so upset :(

For all those, like me, that still believe in Santa, this is a website to watch on Christmas Eve. It tracks Santa on his travels across the world so you can tell when hes near your house.

Super answer fanny, I still believe and I leave out mince pies and sherry on Christmas Eve. I also believe that when a bell rings on your Christmas tree a fairy will get his/her wings. Isn't Christmas just soooooooo magical, let's not lose this and join the killjoys by pretending to children that Father Christmas is not real.

Edit: Rudolph also gets a carrot to keep his nose red.

Mine all do!
13, 9, 6 yrs old.
Of course they have questioned me and other kids at school say things, but my answer is always the same........
If you don`t believe in him then parents have to buy the presents and he will longer visit.
But if you still believe he will always come and you get more!

I have to buy different wrapping paper to family presents as one year they (thought!) they recognised the pattern!
It`s so special when Santa`s around.
We leave fairy dust and reindeer food in the garden.
We leave the usual carrot, mince pie, sherry etc.
And we have a special Santa key for the door (we don`t have a real fire!)

Loved this question, liked reading all the answers.
You`ve got a star from me x

My 9 year old and 11 year old don't believe anymore (although they still like to have a stocking in their rooms - and like to leave him a mince pie and a drink - although I think they do the latter to humour me).

My 19 month old is beginning to understand a little - when we ask him about father Christmas he replies "toys - I'm a good boy" ?! lol

My kids are 3 and 7 (just - it was her birthday a few days ago) and both believe in Father Christmas, although the eldest is starting to get a little bit suspicious. We are going to be doing their letters to send him over the weekend which they are very excited about!

No it's not the same hun.
My two do believe still but, I think it's the last year for my son as he's asking questions now and has found a few of my stashed presents. Little toerag.lol
I remember when I found out Santa wasn't real. Christmas wasn't the same then.
My dad used to have to wake me up for my prezzies.:0)
It will still be great though, don't worry.

My 10 year old found out at the beginning of this year, she was really disappointed bless her. My other 3 who are 4 and under believe and I hope to keep the magic alive for as long as I can. But now my 10 year old keeps making comments infront of them like he aint real...I have told her off and told her no one ruined the magic for you!!

the 6 year old belives but i suspect the 9 yr old knows the truth but when asked last week if she believed in santa she said yes, so i'm not sure. she did however ask me what being gay was yesterday so her innocence is slowly being erroded away by some heathens called charlie and george so i imagine this will be the last year i will get away with it !

Yeah my five year old does, but is getting suspicious (also rumours at school!)so I tell her that any kids who say they dont believe in him must have been naughty so he doesnt go to their houses. She wrote her letter last week,it said "Id like a dolls house please, and you choose the rest".

Fanny,thanks for that link.The site is great.xx.

I think that at 24 and 26 they probably don't but we all joke with others that we do... It's the most wonderful time with your children when they are still so innocent ,they all grow up so quickly ,Lord Elvis of Paisley enjoy it while you can ,it's all gone in the blink of an eye.
