If it really is just a censor or whatever the word is i say it is poppy----. The bird was a Blue---. They are really pretty and we get a lot in our garden. Ba Humbug!

Yahoo uses a filtering program that keys in on specific words, regardless of context. That's why some things are starred out or deleted. A person cannot read all the postings in Y&A.

I remember reading a post on the notice board about someone complaning that they couldnt call a female dog by the proper name - in the "Dog" section!
But you can still use that word in other sections, just not the dog section...

It's so stupid isn't it! My hubbie was on a website last night & he put the word swankiest y' know as in really posh in his answer & it got changed to semolina!!!!!!!! Too many nosy parkers online nowadays. Oh yeah my hubbie had an arguement with his bank over a complete cockup they had made & he told the woman on the phone she was a pedant (a pedantic person) & she told him not to be rude & hung up!!!!!!!!!! IDIOTS

Yahoo is bad about censorship. And they often contradict themselves. They remind me of how AOL used to be. I used to call AOL Adolescents On Line. AOL paid the price in loss of customers. Yahoo will do the same.
