I used to find myself on chatrooms at all hours, and was amazed one time at around 4am in a pretty dead forum, how it virtually exploded with activity.
YA is similar, but at the time of writing it is 11.30 pm in the UK.
My ship must be in a different ocean, but I agree with your thinking.
