That would be a franchise best. The previous mark was 104 wins in 1984.

Rogers is 43, Robertson is lackluster, Bonderman folds at midseason. So you're hoping to get 105 wins from Verlander and a Willis that you are counting on having a rennaisance? You have to play the Indians 19 times, the White Sox (who will be better than last year) 19 times, and the twins 19 times. Plus the Royals love to spoil a good time. Then the competition with the Yankees, Red Soxes and Angels come in, I dont see it happening, the races this year will be even tighter than last.

No Sheffield and Ordonez will barely be in the lineup because of injuries and Willis has not had a good season in 3 years and seems to get worse. The Indians may win 105 games especially if the kids mature early. With
bad pitching and injuries the tigers will be closer to 90 or 92

The Detroit Tigers have enough talent to win 100 plus games. They even have enough talent to pass the Cleveland Indians for the divion title as well and the Cleveland Indians are no slouches either. This should be an interesting playoff chase in the American league yet again.

Everything will have to click to win 105 games. You have the hitting and starting pitching and a strong defense up the middle.

You don't have that great of a bullpen/closer and the corner defensive players are mediocre at best. They will cost you some games.

I think your stretching it a bit as for 105 wins.

The Tigers are going to be amazing with Cabrera and Willis, so yea I think they are capable of winning 105 games.

I don't think they will win 105 games. I think the Tigers will win 98 games.

Winning 100 games is getting tougher and tougher. 105 wins would be pretty special. I don't see Willis and Cabrera increasing the Tigers number of wins enough to reach that goal.

No I don't believe they can or will. The Indians still have you in pitching, GRRRR I hate that you got Cabrera. Willis is a wild-card here. He could easily give you a great left-handed arm, or just bust. Regardless I am still taking the Tribe in '08.

Well right now the only competition they have in their division is the Indians so maybe...probably not though...if their pitching is better than last year I wouldn't be surprised if they got high 90's to low 100's in wins though.
