For attracting attention the 21 cm hydrogen line is probably the best place to play with but for sending information using higher frequencies would give you more bandwidth so those who actually do interstellar communications might find visible light or even UV to be the best thing to use.

You've also got to consider absorption and background noise as well as transmitter and receiver complexity but there is really no straight answer to the question (it depends on what you need to do).

About 4 to 6 Ghz. ,but it still travel at the speed of light.

None really, as it would take years to talk to the nearest star with signals travelling at light speed.

If we try to communicate with aliens,
We can use any radiation becuase all go with same speed (=c) and all can travel through space
but as microwaves, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, x and gamma rays are in greater proportion in space.
the ''''''''21cm hydrogen''''''''' waves are thought to be very useful for communicating...They also lack from space sources..
