Not particularly. It all depends how the person was brought up or the influence of their peers.
I rarely swear unless I stub my toe or something in which case I'll let out a few profanities.
But in my eyes no one is bad to the bone.

it takes a lot more than cuss words to make someone bad to the bone.
where i live you have kids under 12 yrs old swearing worse than i do.

The silent man is far more "bad to the bone" than one who uses words to intimidate, he is the one who knows hes "bad to the bone" and need not say it.

thats all comercialism.
does it matter how its pronounced or how it is spelled?
my mom used to say, oh shrek! or shoot! or geez! or call on all the saints.
its the same damn thing, what matters is what you try to evoked, its only a release of anger.
better than holding it in and keeping it inside.
but i only say it when its appropriate
