Supposedly, this movie has a 40's style feel to it. The movie is out on DVD now. The movie was in theaters 3 months ago I believe. If you could answer, I would appreciate it.

takes place in the 40's. From what I understand, the movie has a girl that is pursuing a guy, but the guy wants nothing to do with her.

The only thing that came out from the 40's that I can think of is Lonely Hearts, but that was actually from 07.. it just came out on DVD this year.. The plot is about 2 people who fall in love and go on a crime spree.. based on a true story.. (but then one of them decides they don't like the other as much any more)

If I think of anything else I'll add it later.. that's all that comes to mind though.

There's one called Evening which goes back and forth between the present and the 50's..

Do you recall any details at all? If you could come up with a snippet of description, I might be able to help. There have been a number of period films.

I have searched the 2007 releases but have found nothing resembling what you are asking about. Here's the link to the Wikipedia page. Perhaps one of the names will look familiar to you:

Scroll down to the large chart, which lists releases.

I simply can't recall any movie that has been set in the Forties besides "The Black Dahlia", but that's a 2006 film. Maybe I'll find it yet.
