it took me till about 10 months after to notice that it was COMPLETELY stopped, but it will begin to taper off before then. I was losing hair by the handfuls...it was horrible, but it is normal and not much you can do about it.

I too lost some hair along the hair line on either side only thankfully and just altered my hair parting until it started to thicken up again, however, with my own experience it took a good year to calm down, everyone is different. However, there are ways around desguising it other than moving your parting - and that is by putting a wash in wash out colour through your hair adds shine and is not damaging - avoid permanent hair dyes meantime till it calms down at least and there are some good herbal remedies you can take that are safe for during breast feeding - thats if you are breastfeeding. I take sanatogen pro-natal, i only took it during my previous two pregnancies and stopped once baby born but have been taking it contiunally since having my third baby and have noticed a difference to how my body is reacting to getting back to "normal"! Try not to stress about it either though because that can cause hair loss too!

I nearly went bald after my twins. My hair has always been very fine, and when I got pregnant it thickened up heaps! I lost my hair for nearly 6 months after.
My hairdresser was heaps of help. I had it cut ever 4 weeks and she would put a mask on it. It was heaps better after that.

my hair grew so lush and thick while I was pregnant and breastfeeding my second child but once I stopped b/f at 8mths it was falling out in clumps!!!

It took nearly 6mths to stop falling out so much but I found regular haircuts and conditioning treatments did ease it a bit.

I'm now pregnant again and hoping it doesn't happen again!! Just wait it out, it will stop eventually but you'll just have to keep the vacumn cleaner handy for a while!

Best of luck
