I'm thinking about getting about an IUD (intrauterine device/birthcontrol). For those who have experience with one....
Did you like it?
What were your side effects?
Did it hurt a whole lot to get it put in?
Did you had a child vaginally before you got it put in?
Did you have any complications from it?
Did you get it taken out for negative reasons?
Did you really not feel it? (I would think you would at certain times like intercourse)
Anything else you want to tell me about it?

I can only take the shot and this(medical reasons).....I've been on the shot for 4 years. I like it but want off. I've been on it long enough. Yes..I meet all the requirements for it. So...tell me..what was your experience like? Be honest too....no sugar coating things.....if they were bad ..they were bad. K Thanx guys.

I have the Mirena. I have had it for over year. I love it. I had no pain having it inserted. I have children vaginally but that doesn't matter. They just want to make sure your uterus has been stretch because you are less likely to expel the IUD. There is a lot of spotting when it is first inserted. For the first 3 months I had more days of spotting then not. It wasn't heavy, just enough to annoy you. I was very paranoid about it coming out and was constantly checking the strings. My husband says he can not feel the strings. I don't even know it is there. I no longer have heavy painful periods or PMS. I wish I had gotten it sooner.

It most likely appears like whatever is fallacious. I had a copper IUD for four years and under no circumstances skilled some thing like you're describing. It sounds love it is in a fallacious role or isn't reacting good together with your frame chemistry. You have given it a well take a look at, two a million/two months. If your frame continues to be combating the IUD I could have it eliminated. Good good fortune.

I have never had experience with an IUD but I have met a few women that have used an IUD, one of them really liked it a lot and had no side effects at all.

I have a link to a site that may help you find even more information and experiences. The link is at: http://forums.obgyn.net/womens-health
