We went out one year to a fancy hotel and although we had a good time coming home to a house that had not had a turkey cooked in it on christmas day was bloody awful no sandwiches later no turkey to pick at with pickle.
This year home and Turkey with all the trimmings and lots of drink and chocolate.

I have always cooked Christmas dinner for the family plus guests. This year Christmas dinner is being cooked for me.... in a restaurant with a large group of friends. I'm really looking forward to it!

My husband and I just moved over two thousand miles away from our families, so this is our first Christmas without them to go visit. So, I'll be doing the cooking and we'll have a traditional turkey roast, honey glazed ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (my husband's favorite), sweet potatoes, and all the rest of the trimmings. Plus, we'll have lots of Christmas cookies (which I've been baking already for several days) and pies for dessert.

I normally cook myself but this year we are going out to eat. I'm sure it will be lovely but I actually quite enjoy cooking & having the house filled with cooking smells. Odds on I will cook a full Xmas dinner for New Years Eve, lol.

Sometimes we go out or to someone's else's house. This year I am cooking and we are having friends over. Having tradional Turkey roast with all the trimmings. Yum, yum. I can't wait - except for the cooking part lol!

On Boxing Day we are going out to a restaurant with my parents and my Nanna!

My mom cooks it. We're having turkey, honey baked ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casarole, rolls...man that sounds like a lot now that I actually spell it out, but it should be good! That's about the only thing I'm looking forward to this Christmas.

We cook our own and as turkeys are in short supply this year hubby and I are going to just have a turkey breast as there is only two of us, with all the trimmings, and also a joint of lamb because we love it but it is so expensive we don't have it very often.

My parents have xmas dinner with my two children and myself, we have our turkey dinner on Xmas eve night, with all the trimmings, carols, candles, crackers etc. we each open one present, then children off to bed later on and a lovely relaxed Xmas morning with bucks fizz, enjoying watching my children open their presents and a buffet through the day.
