Sounds harsh and made up. I wouldn't be friends with someone named Nerissa...sounds like a B****

In Asia this name is very common yet beautiful...it may smilarly sound with Clarissa, Marissa, Larissa, and other same sounding names...are yu Nerissa?

I like names that have meaning. If this name has meaning (I didn't take the time to find out), then I like it. If it's just something made up, then it's kind of lame. I don't like it when people make up names for their kids just because they want something that nobody else has. Nobody else has it for a reason.... A name should have some substance behind it.

To be honest, I think it sounds like someone just made it up. Marissa or Clarissa seem like better options (if you want to keep with the rissa theme lol)
