To the first guy...

Disagree and Agree..

Iran likes to fight by proxy..to hide the evidence..
But I agree Russia is a problem.

Fear is poison.

Personally I think the people who think that Iran is a threat are more of a threat than Iran itself, because it's that sort of mentality that is going to get another Middle Eastern country attacked by a bunch of bloodthirsty and oilgreedy warmongers for no ******' reason at all. Trust me. I know these things.

To the girl who said "Fear is poison", I might also add a quote from Peter Gabriel: "Fear is the mother of violence".

Got that, folks? Can I get an amen?!

Let's get down to brass tacks, gang: if Iran was going to attack the United States or -in particular- Israel, I reckon they already would have. Notice they haven't yet...because they're smart enough to know that the States and Israel would turn their country into a ******' glass parking lot in a New York minute. Mark my words: if Iran is attacked, for whatever reason, real or fabricated, it'll make the "Shock And Awe" Iraq attacks look like a playground pushy-pushy, okay? And, right or wrong, the United States will become even more of a pariah in the eyes of the rest of the world than they already are. They overplayed their hand in Iraq with that "Weapons Of Mass Destruction" bullshit...I really don't think people are going to get conned again.

No I don't think they are a threat to the USA.

They might be a threat in the immediate area where they live but that is not our business.

America is not the world police and need to keep out of other countries disputes.
You would think that if we were to retaliate from 9/11 it would have been in the country where the terrorist were from, but that didn't happen. We invaded other countries instead.

The USA is in great turmoil right now. More then I have seen in my lifetime. People who were never political now are very involved. Many Americans want the president impeached and people are upset about homeland security invading privacy of Americans.
People have started to show great concern about this new super hi way and the north American union. They have a super port in Kansas City with major roadway plans all over America from Mexico.

Most of America opposes the invasion and think we need to take care of home. Most people think we need to work on alternative energy and let the middle eastern countries fight and do what they want over there.

I think that we have enough to worry about here and we need to help home before we can help others.

Every county is the world is a potential threat, Iran included, but they would not be at the top of my list. Russia, China, and Pakistan are more likely to be a problem in the long term. Iran only poses a problem of nuclear proliferation, so it would be good if they could be stopped from developing a nuclear weapon, but military action by the US won't make proliferation less likely. We should not send a message to the world that the way to be safe from US military action is to have nuclear weapons.

Not right now at least......I think everyone is sleeping on China and Russia. Guess which one of those countries has us by the balls economically? I'd say economic dependence on cheap foreign labor is a bigger threat than crazy short Iranians who deny the Holocaust (even tho that's a very bad thing to do, it's just words.)

I seriously do not "get" this.
If Iran is such a threat why do we have ANYTHING to do with them.
Think of it:
1) Kick them ALL out of our country and send them home
2) Refuse them at the border
3) No travel to and from
4) No trade

But, no, we let them in, we spend money with them, some of them are likely living down the street.

So EXACTLY how "serious" a threat is Iran?
And how much are we being told is BS?

I do not believe the report and strongly feel that Iran is racing toward producing a nuke. Israel's secret service (which is 50 times better than ours because they have agents living in Iran) reported that Iran is still on the direct path of building a nuke. I believe them. Why are we so stupid to believe that they backed off? They never said that they backed off. They are playing this close to the vest and we will get hurt. I know (in my heart) that Israel will eventually grow tired of all this bull with Iran and hit them hard. It'll be soon.

Not a threat at all. You think they would attack US or Israel with bombs. They might piss you but neither are they crazy nor stupid. Attacking US or Israel will only give an excuse for both of those countries to make Iran a hellhole. The neo cons are born cowards and they are trying to sell this war to the American people. They will even sell their mothers to accomplish their war-mongering agendas. No more war for Israel. Period.

Me! Iran was never a threat, neither was Iraq :)

The responsibility of proof rests with the aggressor, ie. the USA.

The experts in this field are the weapons inspectors.
